Product Description
Non-Indigenous is about the Riverine Rabbit which is one of the most endangered species in the world with only 250 living individuals. This species is endangered because of destruction of habitat and invasive species taking over its territory in South Africa. In the piece the Rabbits are the only species that are naturally painted without any obstruction of imagery around them.
Non-Indigenous was never shown and was acquired by a collector in Boston at the SMFA art sale.
